🏡 New DPE Regulations in 2025 🏡
Starting January 1st, 2025:
🔑 Validity of Old DPEs: Energy Performance Certificates (DPE) issued before July 1st, 2021, will no longer be valid. A new DPE will be required for property sales or rentals.
📋 Mandatory Energy Audit for E-rated Properties: Homes or buildings with an E rating will require an energy audit before being sold, similar to the current requirements for F and G ratings.
🚫 Ban on Renting G-rated Homes: "Thermal sieves" (G-rated properties) can no longer be rented.
🏢 Collective DPE for Certain Co-properties: Required for co-properties with 50–200 lots in 2025, and all co-properties with fewer than 50 lots by 2026.
