🔊 Noise Disturbances
🌞 Sunny days are back… and windows are opening!
But be careful: sunshine doesn’t mean… noise nuisance 😉
🔊 Neighborhood noise is often what spoils the atmosphere:
• Loud music 🎶
• Long and noisy barbecues 🔥
• Lawn mowing or DIY work 🔧
• Late-night parties 🍷
👉 What the rules say (commonly accepted in France):
🛠️ DIY / gardening allowed:
• Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm / 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm / 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Sundays and public holidays: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm only
🌙 Evening and night:
➡️ Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10:00 pm
➡️ After this time, it is considered night-time disturbance, even for a one-off noise
⚠️ Important:
Even during the day, noise can be penalized if it is repeated, intense, or lasts too long
👉 This is referred to as abnormal neighborhood disturbance
🤝 Good habits:
✔ Inform your neighbors if you’re hosting a gathering
✔ Lower the volume later in the day
✔ Respect time slots
✔ Use common sense
✨ In short:
Enjoy the sunshine, yes…
But without spoiling it for your neighbors 😉
If you want, I can adapt it into a punchier version for a Facebook or LinkedIn post (more “marketing” style 😉).
